Without the LUND installed, I had trouble closing my E's hood after I got it. However, the Element hood is about 2/3rds the size and less than 1/2 the weight. I could hold it about 6 to 8" and drop it and it would close with loud and secure sound. Most people, myself included, are accustomed to cars with heavier hoods. Unless there has been a change in the hardware that is causing a problem, this is an issue with almost all installations. ![]()
